It’s here, all–we’re back on Broadway! It’s sure to be a weekend of great movies and great thoughts from some great bloggers, so let’s get going.
You all know the drill, of course. I’ll be updating this post throughout the weekend, so please keep checking back. And now without further ado…

Gill from Realweegiemidget Reviews kicks us off with her review of 1986’s Children Of A Lesser God.

NitrateGlow brings it with a take on the 1930 backstage melodrama, Lord Byron of Broadway.

Maddy from Classic Film and TV Corner delves into the history of The King and I.

Benjamin from A Full Rich Blather looks at the crazy madcap Marx Brothers film, Animal Crackers.

Ruth from Silver Screenings introduces us to 1932’s Three Broadway Girls.

Le from Crítica Retrô brings us the 1929 Ziegfeld product, Glorifying The American Girl.

Andrew from The Stop Button has some thoughts about 1948’s One Touch of Venus.

Kayla from Whimsically Classic has reviewed the Cole Porter-infused extravaganza, The Broadway Melody of 1940.

Sally from 18 Cinema Lane looks at 1980’s A Tale of Two Cities, which would later end up as a musical (!).

Here’s my review of the 1936 film, The Petrified Forest, which was based on a 1935 Robert Sherwood play of the same name.
Thanks, everyone! Look for a wee wrapup post on Monday with some final thoughts and any last-but-not-least entries. Have a good one…
