It’s here, y’all. The It’s In the Name of the Title Blogathon has arrived. Gill and I were just talking over e-mail yesterday about how we couldn’t believe this blogathon came so fast, and you, our lovely participants are hitting the ground running.
So yeah, you all know the drill. Please send your posts to both Gill and I over the next few days (find Gill’s Day One post here) and we will add them to the lineup as soon as possible. And if anyone would like to join us, here’s my announcement post.
Now, without further ado, here are our lovely Day One entries…

My co-host, Gill of Realweegiemidget Reviews starts us off with her look at The House Where Evil Dwells.

Maddy of Classic Film and TV Corner brings her review of the 1991 film, Frankie and Johnny.
Karen from Shadows and Satin has a pre-Code double bill for us: The Strange Love of Molly Louvain and The Strange Case of Clara Deane.

Chris from Angelman’s Place takes us back to 1986 with Peggy Sue Got Married.

John from Tales From the Freakboy Zone gives us his thoughts on 1982’s Annie.

Andrew from The Stop Button takes on 1989’s The Fabulous Baker Boys.
John Rieber brings us the second double-header of the blogathon: Harry In Your Pocket (1973) and Withnail and I (1987).

Brian from Films From Beyond the Time Barrier goes back to 1949 with The File On Thelma Jordan.

Rick from Rick’s Real/Reel Life highlights Joan Crawford and 1950’s Harriet Craig.

Frank from Smoke In the Library brings us his thoughts on the 1963 film, The List of Adrian Messenger.

Emily from The Flapper Dame has delved into the world of Hamish Macbeth (1995-1997).

Le from Crítica Retrô reviews the infamous 1960 film, Elmer Gantry.

Kristina from Speakeasy brings us a tale of two X’s with The Amazing Mr. X (1948) and The Story of Molly “X” (1949).
All right, depending on when you read this, see you tomorrow for Day Two…
Glad to have taken part and look forward to seeing what everyone shares!
