The Two Jacks Blogathon Has Arrived

It’s happening, all. Time to look at a very momentous period in history and honor two lives that were very different yet in their own way intertwined, as each still reverberates througout culture sixty years after their deaths.

Of course, if anyone would like to join the blogathon, there are plenty of topics available, so just let me know. The rules can be found here. As for everyone else, you all know the drill: Please send me your posts throughout the event and be sure to check back often because this page will be updated as needed. Yep, even on Thanksgiving, when I’ll be helping my brother make the dinner. Multi-tasking is fun, right?

Now, without further ado, here are all our wonderful bloggers.

Shadowlands-19852

Sally from 18 Cinema Lane also jumps in with a look at the 1985 version of Shadowlands, starring the late, great Joss Ackland.

Ben from A Full, Rich Blather brings us his thoughts on 2000’s Thirteen Days, that other movie about JFK starring Kevin Costner.

Maddy from Classic Film and TV Corner shares a lot of fascinating info about JFK’s Hollywood connections.

Andrew from The Stop Button has reviewed the 1993 film, In the Line of Fire, starring Clint Eastwood as a burned-out Secret Service agent.

J-Dub from Dubsism looks for the sports in the 1963 Kennedy biopic, PT-109, about JFK’s time captaining a PT boat.

Here’s where I take a peek at C.S. Lewis’s forays into poetry, a little-discussed part of his work.
